5 Vegetarian Foods That Should be Consumed to Avoid High Uric Acid Levels

You might not know, but a high level of uric acid in the body can cause severe diseases like arthritis. Do you know how uric acid increases in the body? When the body is not able to remove waste, it increases uric acid levels.

Nowadays, Gout is the most common illness observed in adults. It is a form of arthritis that occurs when uric acid increases in blood and accumulates around a joint. Foods that you eat could affect your gout by decreasing or increasing the levels of uric acid. So the dietary goal to avoid gout is to limit the foods that are high in purine.

Vegetarian foods like green tea, cherries, tomatoes, cucumber, dark chocolate, and more control the level of uric acid. Here are some more foods that could be consumed to prevent or cure gout.
