PETA Shares Veganuary Tips to Become a Vegan in Simple Steps

Veganuary is a popular UK non-profit organization that promotes and encourages people to go vegan in January month. The event began in 2014, and since then, people are becoming more active to go vegan in January. It is a crowdfunded campaign, where participants sign up online and receive daily supporting emails.

They are offered a vegan starter kit with a recipe database and product directories. Participants share images and recipes on social media and communicate the message that going vegan is easy and fun. Vegan food trends are making it easier for people to go vegan. Also, PETA is offering a Veganuary cheat sheet to encourage people to go vegan.

Vegan meat, or better known as mock meat analogs, faux are products that resemble qualities of animal-based meat-like flavors and textures. Vegan meat is made up of wheat gluten, soya, or vegetable protein. So, head towards a local grocery store and go for any one of the vegan meats.

7th January

When you go for vegan ice cream or other dairy-free products, then you are also feeding cows. You can find several shops and brands that offer vegan ice cream options. So, on 7th January, taste vegan ice cream and share feedback.

8th January

Donate vegan food to someone in need or a local bank. Several food banks distribute foods to the communities in need and contribute vegan nonperishable items. This could be an excellent way to save animals and to help people in need.

Vegan fish is also a great option to eat in the Veganuary. Pay a visit to a local supermarket and select vegan fishes available.

12th January
